Dbrand lets Android users drink the Cosmic Orange juice, too

Dbrand’s latest skins allow a wide range of non-Apple devices to don a “flawlessly colormatched knock-off” of the “Cosmic Orange” sported by iPhone 17 Pro models. The new gadget skins are available across every device covered by Dbrand’s portfolio starting today, including Apple and Android smartphones, laptops, tablets, earpods, and gaming hardware.

For Apple customers who already have an orange iPhone 17 Pro or 17 Pro Max, that means you can now coordinate those citrusy hues across the rest of your gadgets, including MacBooks and iPads. The skins are also available for Samsung, Google Pixel, and Apple’s phones, including the iPhone Air and iPhone 17 lineup.

“When Tim Cook hand-picked the new Cosmic Orange colorway, he had no idea we’d be ripping it off for a colormatched skin,” Dbrand said in its press release. “To be fair, we didn’t think it’d be popular enough to warrant a ripoff. Now that it has, we’re all too happy to turn your Android into a Temu iPhone.”

I, for one, never doubted the popularity of the vibrant orange iPhone 17 Pro. Shipment estimates following the preorder launch suggest that the orange iPhone 17 Pro Max sold out faster than other color variants, and a quick search on YouTube shows it’s a popular color among iPhone 17 Pro reviewers. With Dbrand now releasing skins specifically matched to that orange shade, hopefully Apple will take the demand for vivid color options into consideration for future hardware launches.
