    Ember’s 16-ounce temperature-controlled Tumbler is half off

Tired of your coffee going cold halfway through the cup? Ember’s smart mugs are designed specifically to solve that problem, and right now the black Ember Tumbler is on sale for half off. Regularly $199.95, you can buy the travel-friendly smart mug for just $99.95 at Amazon and Walmart, which is $20 shy of its best price yet.

Just like the beloved Ember Mug 2—a favorite here at The Verge—the Ember Tumbler lets you set your temperature between 120 and 145 degrees Fahrenheit via the companion app, and keeps your drink warm for hours. But unlike the Ember Mug 2, which comes in 10- and 14-ounce sizes, the Tumbler can hold 16 ounces of coffee — making it the largest smart mug Ember offers.

Ember built it specifically with travel in mind, featuring a rugged, IPX7-rated design. That said, during our testing, it couldn’t maintain our ideal coffee temperature for more than three hours. However, it still performs well as a mug for home use, especially since it can keep your drink heated indefinitely when docked on the included charging coaster.
