Google’s HD Chromecast is going for just $20

Google’s HD Chromecast is going for just

Almost any TV you can buy these days supports streaming in some form or fashion, but what if you don’t like its user interface or it doesn’t have all of the apps you need? That’s where a streaming device like the Chromecast with Google TV (HD) comes in. We usually recommend jumping for the 4K version if you have the budget for it, but the HD model is only $19.99 ($10 off) at Amazon, Best Buy, and the Google Store. It’s a great opportunity to see whether a Chromecast is a better fit for you than Amazon or Roku’s offerings or to access your favorite streaming apps on a secondary TV in your home.

Like its pricier sibling, the Google TV platform it uses offers recommendations across a variety of streaming services and provides an array of helpful info, including Rotten Tomatoes ratings. The entry-level streamer lacks Dolby Vision, and you won’t be able to stream your favorite shows and movies in 4K — it’s limited to a max resolution of 1080p — but it can play HDR videos, supports casting from apps that offer it, and comes with the same Google Assistant-compatible voice remote as the 4K model.

It’s hard not to get into spring cleaning mode with a do-it-all robot vacuum like the Dreame L20 Ultra. The premium offering is one of our favorite models thanks to its ability to pull dual duty as a sweeper and mopper, one that does so with great autonomy. Of course, such a prodigious product doesn’t come without a high price tag. It normally retails for $1,499 and is often on sale for a bit less, but now through the end of April, it’s down to $799 ($700 off) at Wellbots when you use exclusive promo code VERGEL20. That’s easily its lowest price to date.

The L20 Ultra has a high suction power for thick rugs and stubborn dirt and uses AI-powered obstacle avoidance and lidar-assisted room mapping. Plus, you can use Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri to control it. It has self-lifting pads that allow it to transition between cleaning carpet and hard floors seamlessly, and it’s better than most at baseboard cleaning thanks to auto-extending brushes. It also doesn’t need help to empty or refill its water at the included charging base, nor do you need to clean or dry its mop pads.
