I’m The Verge’s new AV expert, ask me anything!

Hi everyone! I’m John Higgins, the new senior reviewer of TVs and audio here at The Verge. I joined the team just over a month ago, and am raring to go. I’ve been in tech publishing in some capacity for a little over 20 years, starting at Home Theater Magazine back in 2003 as I finished up my masters degree in piano at USC in LA. After freelancing for many years, most recently I was senior editor of AV at Digital Trends and, before that, managing editor of tech at Reviewed. I’ve covered TVs, projectors, speakers, headphones and earbuds, soundbars, most anything having to do with audio/video products.

At 2pm ET today, November 6, I’ll be hosting a subscriber-only AMA, answering your questions about TVs and audio, what type of coverage you want to see for TVs at The Verge, or about the works of Debussy and Rachmaninoff. Feel free to drop your questions in the comments to this post and I’ll be back at 2pm ET to start answering what I can. Looking forward to connecting with you all.
