Meta is holding a new “LlamaCon” conference where it will share updates on “open source AI developments” to help developers create apps and products, the company said on Tuesday. LlamaCon will take place on April 29th, 2025 — months ahead of its Meta Connect conference, which it just announced will run from September 17th to the 18th.
Meta said it will reveal more information about LlamaCon, which is named after the company’s open-source AI model Llama, in “the coming weeks.” The Connect conference will feature the “latest and greatest in Meta Horizon updates” and will “peel back the curtain on tomorrow’s tech,” Meta says.
