Sony’s excellent WF-1000XM5 earbuds have hit their lowest price ever

Want a premium pair of earbuds without having to pay a premium price? Right now, Sony’s noise-canceling WF-1000XM5 are on sale at Amazon and Target for $179.99 ($120 off), their best price to date.

It’s possible Sony could release the WF-1000XM6 sometime later this year, but for now, few wireless earbuds offer as much value as the current-gen XM5. Along with delivering dynamic and detailed sound, they do a fantastic job of drowning out noise. If you use your earbuds to make phone calls, they’re even more impressive, allowing you to easily eliminate background noise and be heard even in loud environments.

With four foam-style ear tips, the wireless earbuds are also comfortable enough to wear for hours at a time, which you can do without worrying about battery life. That’s because the XM5 can last up to eight hours on a single charge with ANC enabled and recharge exceptionally fast using the included charging case. They also feature several Android-only perks and other conveniences, including IPX4-rated water resistance and support for multipoint Bluetooth connectivity, the latter of which lets you connect them to two devices at once.
