The M3 11-inch iPad Air heavily discounted for Prime Day

One of the best Prime Day deals brings the price of an 11-Inch M3 iPad Air (128GB Wi-Fi) with two years of AppleCare Plus down to an all-time low price of $538.99 ($139 off) at Amazon. Here’s why this deal is so good: AppleCare Plus normally costs $50 per year, but you’re getting two years of it for just $58. Without AppleCare added on, this tablet is $479.99, but we really think you ought to opt for the extended warranty option.

For folks who need more storage, Amazon is offering a $100 discount on a 512GB and 1TB M3 iPad Airs with two years of AppleCare Plus to non-Prime members.

The 11-inch M3 iPad Air is so good that our own David Pierce called it “the best long-term iPad” in our buying guide to the best iPads. It’s powerful enough to handle tasks like video, photo, audio editing, and supports Apple Intelligence features — all without breaking a sweat. It’s still a good choice for more core iPad duties, like reading, sketching (the Apple Pencil Pro is currently $30 off at Amazon), or watching videos. Its Touch ID fingerprint reader allows you to unlock the tablet without entering a password every time, and its 12-megapixel front and rear cameras are solid for video calls or snapping a quick picture. The M3 iPad Air will become an even better laptop replacement when new windowing and multitasking features are released as part of iPadOS 26 this fall.

If you don’t need that level of performance, or want a tablet that’s more portable, a seventh-gen iPad Mini (128GB Wi-Fi) is also at an all-time low price of $379 ($120 off) at Amazon. The iPad Mini has an 8.3-inch display, and runs on Apple’s iPhone-class A17 Pro processor, but is still capable of running Apple Intelligence features and iPadOS 26’s productivity features.
